Humanitarian Air Charter for Emergency Relief Missions
Amerijet’s humanitarian air charter services help move relief cargo when regular transportation options aren’t enough. We work with organizations responding to disasters, delivering medical supplies, or supporting emergency evacuations that need a dedicated aircraft to get the job done. We operate a dedicated fleet of B767 freighters from our Miami hub, which we use to move large relief shipments and support charter flights across our network. From getting the cargo ready to arranging the flight, secure handling, tracking, and timely delivery, our team manages each part of the shipment with care.
Our Miami hub connects relief shipments with destinations across the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, South America, and Europe. Whether it’s temperature-sensitive goods, medical supplies, large relief shipments, or emergency equipment, we handle and move cargo, considering its specific requirements. For more than 50 years, Amerijet has been a partner in disaster relief and recovery across the Caribbean and Latin America, so relief organizations can count on our experience when they need to move critical supplies quickly and safely.

When Disasters Strike, We Respond: Here’s What We’ve Done
For more than 50 years, we’ve helped move humanitarian supplies into communities affected by hurricanes, earthquakes, and other emergencies across the Caribbean and Latin America. These missions are a good example of the work our team has handled over the years.
Haiti Aid 2010: After the Haiti earthquake, we supported United Nations relief efforts by moving critical aid and emergency supplies into the country when they were needed most.
Hurricane Relief 2016: Hurricane Matthew caused widespread damage across Haiti. We stepped in to provide disaster relief assistance and support those affected by the storm.
Daily Missions 2017: Following Hurricane Maria, we operated daily relief flights into Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands, carrying emergency supplies, water, and medical aid to affected communities.
Hygiene Kits 2024: We worked with Heart to Heart International and Food For The Poor to move 3,600 hygiene kits to Haiti through a humanitarian air bridge, helping get essential supplies to people in need.
Hurricane Response 2025: When Hurricane Melissa struck the Caribbean, we put our B767-300 freighter fleet to work supporting relief efforts in Jamaica and other affected areas.
