On April 5, 2025 the inaugural flight of Amerijet International to Palmerola International Airport was held, in the central region of Honduras, this event marked an important milestone in the country’s air connectivity and especially for agro-exporters of the Comayagua area. The flight transported 34,000 kilos of okra, a highly demanded agricultural product in the United States, thus consolidating the relevance of the Palmerola Airport as a key logistics hub for exports from Honduras.
