Chief Pilot 

Matthew Macri joined Amerijet International Airlines in 2021 with more than 15 years of airline management experience. During his career, he held numerous leadership positions, including Director of Operations for Discovery Jets, Vice President of Operations at Via Airlines, and Chief Pilot at Air Transport International, Inc.  

Macri served eight years in the United States Army and United States Army Reserve. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Type Ratings for the B767, B757, DC-8, DHC-8, LR-JET, and G200 and has over 10,000 hours of flight time.  

 
Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He has two children and is an avid scuba diver.
