This includes fostering a culture of safety, maintaining strict adherence to maintenance and operational protocols, and continuously improving processes to mitigate potential threats and ensure reliable and secure cargo transportation.

The Safety of our customers and team members is our top priority, driven by our Safety Management System (SMS)—a comprehensive, organization-wide framework dedicated to proactively identifying, assessing, and managing risks to ensure a secure and reliable operational environment.


Safety culture forms the cornerstone of any effective Safety Management System (SMS), with trust serving as its core pillar. At Amerijet, we embrace a Just Culture approach—one that fosters trust, transparency, and accountability. This empowers every team member to take ownership of their role in upholding the highest safety standards, driving continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional safety outcomes. Safety is everyone’s responsibility at Amerijet.

Amerijet’s Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP)

Amerijet’s Aviation Safety Action Program is just another tool used in Amerijet’s Safety Management System (SMS) to improve our organization’s just culture and reporting culture. Reports submitted through ASAP are powerful, as they shine light on front-line systemic issues that may otherwise go unseen. Like the old saying goes: “we don’t know, what we don’t know”. Therefore, sharing identifiable hazards and other safety issues can immensely support prevention of recurrences.


ASAP’s non-punitive, solution-oriented focus on safety also supports our company’s just culture. Each ASAP departmental program has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which is signed by three entities (Employee representative, FAA, and AJT Management). Hence, it is a formal promise that adds strength and trust within the program.


The benefit of having an ASAP is in the results– gaining knowledge of an unintentional error or safety concern. It helps us improve our policies and procedures. While adding an additional layer of protection to our licensed employees.
