Direct shippers and freight forwarders that ship to Guatemala have a new air carrier option. All-cargo carrier Amerijet International Airlines now serves La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City, Guatemala with direct freighter service between Miami International Airport (MIA).

Since launching service in mid-February 2019, Amerijet offers four flights per week with convenient, maindeck B767-300 freighter capacity to GUA. Shippers can move to Guatemala a variety of freight including general cargo, pharmaceuticals, electronic equipment, perishables, automotive-related products, hazardous materials and other commodities.

Guatemala is the largest economy in Central America, and its main imports are oil, capital goods and consumer goods. Guatemala City and Bogota, Colombia are the two latest additions to the Amerijet route map. Amerijet serves a total of 40 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America with scheduled maindeck capacity. Amerijet also serves more than 475 global destinations through its interline partners.

For reservations and schedule information, shippers are encouraged to set up their free MyCargo account at the Amerijet website to book their freight and manage their shipments all in one place.
