
Amerijet Mobilizes Humanitarian Aid in the Aftermath of Hurricane Melissa

MIAMI, FL – (October 30, 2025) – In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, Amerijet International Airlines and its fleet of nine B767-300 freighters are preparing to deliver critical humanitarian aid to affected areas in the Caribbean. The airline has already resumed operations into Jamaica, where it operates five weekly flights into Kingston (KIN), while working closely with local authorities, government, and nonprofits to add additional relief missions as needed.
Amerijet is collaborating with key trusted humanitarian organizations, including Food for The Poor and AirLink, to transport essential goods and logistical support. The company is also coordinating with multiple government agencies and brokers to expediate relief shipments into the region. With close to 1000 employees, Amerijet is engaging its team to donate essential emergency supplies, and the company has already prepared a shipment of critical goods to be sent today.

- Hurricane Maria (2017): Flew daily missions to Puerto Rio and the British Virgin Islands carrying emergency goods, water and medical supplies.
- Hurricane Matthew (2016): Funded a home for a family in Haiti and provided disaster relief assistance after the hurricane devastated the country’s southern peninsula.
- Haiti Earthquake (2010): Operated daily flights into Port-au-Prince, delivering essential supplies and United National aid materials.
