Amerijet celebrates 20-year partnership with Dan Air in South Korea
In 2000, Amerijet International partnered with Dan Air Services, Inc. to be their General Sales Agents (GSA,) managing air cargo sales, in South Korea. Dan Air Services was established in 1996 by Mr. J.H. Joo who, with his extensive experience in the airline industry, propelled the company to be successful.
Dan Air’s office is conveniently located within easy reach of the many local forwarders who handle shipments into Amerijet’s primary service region. Operating a fleet of Boeing 767 freighter aircraft from its operational hub at Miami International Airport, Amerijet serves destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America. Their dedication to providing first class customer service for all types of commodities, including time-sensitive, valuable, hazardous materials, temperature-controlled and oversized freight, allows both companies, to share the same core values, purpose, and goals.
It is a remarkable achievement to celebrate 20 years of mutual partnership, reaching many milestones along the way. In addition to many shipments from Incheon containing all types of commodities such as ship spares, machine parts and hazardous material, one of the most notably was an extremely heavy shipment from South Korea to Curacao (CUR) in the Dutch Caribbean. The load consisted of ship parts and contained just four pieces but weighed a whopping 20,900 kgs.
With a small team of four, they manage to process almost 900 shipments annually.
In the spirit of celebrating this anniversary, Amerijet wishes Dan Air continued success and looks forward to many more years of partnership.
