Roy Leon has been an international attorney since 2001. He has extensive experience in many
aspects of aviation, contract, commercial, compliance, customs, federal administrative, international trade, transportation, and regulatory law. Prior to joining Amerijet International Airlines Inc., Roy worked at International Regulatory Law firms and also served as Corporate Counsel at LATAM Airlines Group for five years.

Roy earned his undergraduate degree in International Business from Barry University and
his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law with a concentration in
litigation. Through his experience, he has developed legal strategies in response to the
company’s litigations and claims. He is known for his ability to predict and prevent legal
issues and risks associated with cargo carriers. Since joining Amerijet in 2018, Roy has
always demonstrated strong moral and ethical principles. He has demonstrated the ability to partner with different units across the organization to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
When he is not in the office, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife and his son at any of
South Florida’s historical landmarks and also taking care of his rescue family of dogs and
cats.
